1. Health & Fitness
Good health and physical fitness are required for all our trips. We strongly recommend that all travelers undergo a medical check-up before embarking on extended treks or adventure tours. If you require additional support due to physical conditions, we can arrange assistance upon request at an additional cost.
2. Insurance
All travelers booking a trip with Travel Funky must have comprehensive insurance covering trip cancellations, accidents, medical expenses, emergency evacuations, baggage loss, and personal belongings. Any emergency evacuation costs must be paid upfront in Nepal unless your insurance provider directly covers the charges. Please ensure that your policy includes coverage for trekking and mountaineering if applicable.
3. Advance Payment
To secure your booking, an advance payment of 20% is required at the time of reservation. An additional 15% must be paid at least 15 days before departure, as per company policy.
4. Full Payment
The remaining balance of the trip cost must be settled upon arrival in Kathmandu. If full payment is not made in time or the advance deposit is not completed, we may have to cancel your booking.
5. Last-Minute Booking
We accept last-minute bookings up to 15 days before the departure date, but a 50% advance payment of the total tour cost is required.
6. Cancellation Policy
Once booked, clients cannot make changes to the itinerary independently. Travel Funky reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any portion of the trip due to unforeseen circumstances. For full details on cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Booking Terms & Conditions.
7. Liability
Travel Funky acts as a destination management company and is not liable for any unforeseen events, including but not limited to:
Accidents, injuries, or illnesses
Damage, loss, or delay of luggage
Weather disruptions, floods, or political unrest
Strikes, riots, or any other disturbances beyond our control
All travelers are responsible for their personal expenses and must ensure they have appropriate coverage for unexpected situations.
8. Complaints
If you have any complaints about our services, we encourage you to bring them to our attention before your departure so we can address them effectively.
9. Pricing Policy
Prices are valid as per the offer at the time of booking. Travel Funky reserves the right to adjust prices due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, local taxes, permit fees, or other governmental regulations affecting travel costs.
